The Virginia Circulation Research Center (VCIRC.ORG) is incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia and has been granted tax-exempt status by the IRS under section 501(c)(3). This new center will fund a translational research program focused on the relationship between cellular oxygen supply and mediators of cardiovascular inflammation. It is dedicated to the advancement of cardiovascular science as it relates to the medical management of human disease, through education and research.
Physical space dedicated to VCIRC.ORG is located on the second floor of the Corazon Building, adjacent to the Roanoke Heart Institute. There are 3,300 square feet of wet bench laboratory and adjacent office space available as the center develops.
