Echocardiography services are available using the Philips Sonos 5500. Resting images are available with routine Doppler and Color / Doppler imaging. The Roanoke Heart Institute is certified by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories. Accreditation status signifies that our facility has been reviewed by an independent agency that recognizes our laboratory’s commitment to quality testing for the diagnosis of heart disease. We have a full Exercise and Pharmacological (Dobutamine) Stress Echo testing program. Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography is available in the comfortable surroundings of the Roanoke Heart Institute. Extracranial Cardiovascular Duplex Imaging ("Carotid Doppler") Exams are also performed routinely at the RHI.
